Open AdiIRC and navigate to "Server" and then select "Server List" (alt. Ctrl+S).
1. Click "Add new network" to create a new network. Give it a name (for example "dotBNC") and then click "Add". Then go to "Servers" list to add a server to it.
Add hostname: bnc.dotbnc.com, Port: 6667 for nonssl and Port: 7000 for SSL. Save and you are finished.
2. Set the password
In the "Password" field, enter your BNC password. In Username add in the format: user/ircnetwork eg user/DALnetThen set your preferred "Nick" and "Ident" if you wish, and make sure everything is correct.
3. Connect
Now you have set up your AdiIRC exactly right, provided that you followed the instructions from the first letter to the last full stop. To complete the configuration, click "Connect". Now you connect to your BNC.
